The workshop leader is Steve Goodwill, who has run innovative, effective and well received training events for over twenty years. His style has been described as:

Steve’s practical approach to learning and delivery of material, alongside his vast personal experience & knowledge means he builds a good level of trust and rapport for the improved effectiveness of individual learning.

Methodology.

This course will explore leadership in a very practical way, using the best practices of experiential learning and the excellent facilities at the venue. Experiential learning is more powerful and has a more lasting effect than conventional approaches.

Centred on learning by doing, linked to facilitated reflection, theoretical models and behavioural experimentation, all stages are equally important and valid. However, the practical emphasis is the key to its appeal and effectiveness. Activities are not undertaken lightly, but selected to highlight particular lessons or processes. They are also enjoyable and memorable, which further enhances learning.

The activities are varied, some taking place indoors, some on the lawns outside and some on the high ropes course. All are supervised by qualified staff and no-one will be pressured to take part.

 Venue.

Scalford Hall is a wonderful venue near Melton Mowbray with some excellent facilities.

 Investment

The cost of investing in this training course for your leaders is yet be finalised, but will include all learning materials, accommodation and meals throughout your stay.
