'Secrets of Effective Time Management'

Work Smarter not Harder -we’ve all heard the cliché, come and learn what it means!

On this workshop you will:

	Examine how you currently spend your time and identify ways in which this could be improved;
	Acquire a number of specific techniques for handling common time management issues, including procrastination;
	Be able to set clear objectives for yourself and others;
	Understand the impact your approach to time management has on others;
	Consider the common barriers to effective self management and ways to overcome these;
	Be introduced to an approach for planning and prioritising work in a structured way;
	Learn the secrets of effective time management;
	Be able to handle interruptions and say no assertively;
	Learn to recognise the causes and symptoms of stress and how to deal with it;
	Have prepared a personal action plan for managing their time more effectively

Methodology: The day will be participative and interactive. Use will be made of individual and small group work. The emphasis throughout the day will be on self-analysis, with the aim of helping participants recognise that the keys to effective time management centre around self-discipline, attitude, clarity of purpose and personal responsibility.
