In November, we collaborated with
Connect-cee in Romania to facilitate a team-building event on hotel boats
on the Danube delta for Petrom. This is the largest oil and gas group in
Romania, recently privatised, part of the Austrian based OMV group and is
undergoing a major change programme.
The delta is a beautiful venue, although
opportunities to go ashore for activities were limited, particularly this
late in the year. The programme therefore demanded some creativity from
the training team, which produced some memorable moments. Facilitation in
three languages simultaneously also presented some challenges, but with
the help of the tireless and helpful team members from Connect-cee, these were overcome with no
problems.
The delegates were also treated to a number of
recreational activities, including fishing, traditional dancing and wine
tasting. We participated fully in all except the dancing!
A memorable and educational event for all
concerned.
