Having run a Management Development
Programme for their senior staff, we have twice been invited back to help FHG
with their internal conferences. The first was their annual sales
conference, when they attempted archery and a series of problem solving
tasks to find the "best" team.
This year we helped out at their inaugural Editorial
Conference. With fewer delegates and less time, we challenged the
teams to two creative tasks, which tested their theatrics and more
practical skills. Some liberal (or creative?) interpretations of the brief
led to some very different outcomes, but this certainly seemed to get the
juices going for the more serious activities to come.
