The awayday was spot on for me - I had one main objective, but came away with so much more! I wanted to the chance to get to know people on the project - to understand them a little more to make working with them easier - what makes them tick, what are they about, what are their motivations. What I came away with was a bunch of great acquaintances that I'm looking forward to working with. The introspective element of looking at team styles was spot on - I enjoyed a bit of self reflection and came away with a couple of self-development points - THAT WAS A BONUS!
