Management Development with GTA
All of the areas mentioned below can be covered on individual workshops or as part of a broader programme. In both cases courses are designed for and with our clients to make them as relevant and valuable as possible. We have expanded on some to demonstrate our approach. We specialise in modular programmes, where a group of people meet for a two day workshop every four to six weeks.
Change Whether welcomed and embraced as a force for progress, growth and innovation or dreaded as the root of all problems, change is a constant and accelerating process in most areas of work and life. Individuals, particularly managers need to cope with, manage and even initiate change within organisations. An understanding of why and how change happens will help people to develop these skills. Whether the change is planned, enforced or unexpected it is important to understand the processes involved, how people may react and how to deal with these behaviours in a sensitive and constructive away.
Coaching Your aim may be to develop individual skills or to build a coaching climate within your organisation, an understanding of the basic skills, attributes and helping behaviours are essential. As well as looking at the skills and processes in a business setting, we often include a more practical element to these courses. This can help people to see the benefits and also to learn in a fun and stimulating way. For instance, we have asked groups to coach each other in new skills such as Archery, Juggling and Canoeing.
