Assessment Centres Used
to select new staff or identify potential for promotion or to highlight training
needs, these centres are similar in design and format to our development
workshops, but with a structured assessment and feedback process built in.
Psychometric evaluations, observed group activities, case studies and interviews
are all used to provide a range of information about delegates. This broader
approach leads to a more thorough and robust process of selection, which is
beneficial and cost effective for the organisation. It is also appreciated by
the candidates, who feel they have a better opportunity to show their talents
and also recognise where they can improve. Development
Centres These
are an extension of our normal development workshops, where we take a number of
delegates and work in a more focused way on a number of specific competences and
learning objectives, running exercises, facilitating a structured review and
providing feedback to individuals to develop skills. Strategic
Planning We
can arrange facilitated workshops for management teams to consider, review and
plan vision and strategy. These can be on your own site or at a secluded country
hotel, possibly with some "break out" activities included to relieve pressure
and free up thinking. We have co-written a complete training plan for a major
building society.
