| SGS International is a company within the SAS group,
best known for the airline. SGSi handles all the ground operations,
including passenger services, ticketing, baggage and cargo handling. As
part of the company's drive to establish its unique identity and better
equip its staff for the challenges of a complex marketplace an exciting
programme was designed. Two modules, both lasting two days saw 180
managers flying into Heathrow airport and sharing a packed and
stimulating programme looking at personal effectiveness, systems
thinking, customer care, influencing, leading change, leadership style
and coaching. With a wide spread of nationalities and languages, there
were some lively debates, but the highlight for all groups (and the most
photogenic!) was the practical coaching session and we include some
