Why Use
Goodwill Training?
Goodwill Training are a team of training and
development specialists, who combine the best of traditional techniques
with the latest ideas in the field of learning and development, including

liberated, so that they can contribute more to your organisation.
We do this by designing and facilitating
innovative, enjoyable and challenging learning events. People are
encouraged to examine their experiences and behaviour, and to learn from

The
Goodwill Training Team
|

|
Founder and
Managing Director, Steve Goodwill has been a trainer and consultant for
over twenty years, specialising in the development of interpersonal skills such as Leadership,
Influencing, Team Working, Negotiations and Problem Solving. Stephen has worked with all levels of Management from Board members to
Supervisors and with front line operators. He
has worked with a variety of companies and with the NHS and other public
organisations, in the UK, Europe and the Far East. His career has included
commissioned service in the Royal Marines, Development Training, Systems
Consultancy and Operations Management. Stephen has developed a number of long
term modular programmes with some major organisations, where the "little
and often" approach to learning has proved very effective. He is particularly interested in the
effective and ethical uses of the outdoors in development training and has
written two books on the subject. In his spare time he enjoys family time,
outdoor activities and coaching junior rugby.
|
|

|
Director and Company Secretary, Anne
Goodwill has worked in the insurance industry, in an architect's
practice, and in state and public schools, she is a qualified secretary
and classroom assistant. Anne manages the office, prepares course material
and organises the catering for some of our more adventurous team
programmes. Anne is naturally creative and brings this talent to the team
in course and exercise design. |
|

|
Associate, Pete March is our
principal provider of outdoor expertise. A highly qualified canoeist and
archer, he brings a wealth of experience in outdoor pursuits and managing
his own business. His interests provide excellent opportunities to assist
business leaders in developing their coaching skills. Pete is an
innovative exercise designer and accomplished group facilitator. |
|

|
Associate,
Paula Potter spent a number of years working within the NHS,
latterly as Head of Organisation, Leadership and Management Development in
Staffordshire. Prior to that she was Project Director for the National
Leadership centre. With a wealth of experience setting up and running
nationally recognised programmes for health professionals, Paula has
particular expertise in psychometrics, facilitation, coaching and project
management. In her leisure time Paula is a keen organic gardener and
beekeeper. |
|

|
Associate,
Andie Brazewell has worked with VSO in Tanzania, where he was Project
Manager designing and developing vocational courses and renovating the
national vocational training centre. Prior to this, he was Centre Manager
for a management training company and then Training Manager for a company
organising overseas research programmes. He has a keen interest in
developing the use of real projects for training purposes. He is also a
keen scuba diver, para-glider and mountaineer. |
|

|
Associate, Bill Krouwel runs his
own training organisation and has extensive experience of development
training and using the outdoors, particularly in Eastern Europe. He and Steve have collaborated for many
years on courses, magazine articles and two books.
He is particularly proud
of and known for his thoughtful and innovative approach to learning and
development. He firmly believes that delegate-generated learning is more
powerful, and more useful to the individual and the organisation, than
"learning" imposed by others |
|

|
Associate, Allie Goodwill is a
primary school teacher, and expedition leader for the Yorkshire Schools
Exploration Society, with whom she led an expedition to
the Grand Canyon in Summer 2005 and last summer one to Tibet, the Karakoram and Tien Shan
mountains. More used to working with infants and teenagers, Allie
relishes the different challenge of and brings a different perspective to,
her facilitation work with adult managers. |
